Meet Sir Stuffington, a tremendously cute rescue kitten with more Facebook « Likes » than the average local business.
With more than 28,000 « Likes » and counting, the 6-week-old Sir Stuffington recently went viral due to a cheeky picture of the one-eyed feline wearing pirate garb complete with red bandana, bændelorm hos kat eye patch, and an unforgettable sneer.
Aside from lacking an eye, the flea and filth-ridden Sir Stuffington arrived at the Multnomah County Animal Services in Troutdale, Ore., this month with health issues including a disfigured jaw, heart murmur, upper respiratory infection, flea anemia, and the highly contagious calicivirus.
After cleaning up Sir Stuffington and treating his respiratory infection, the Troutdale shelter turned over the lucky kitten and its two siblings to 34-year-old foster parent Blazer Scaffer for recuperation. To ensure a smooth transition, the shelter also took care of Sir Stuffington’s severe flea infestation, did a round of deworming, and gave him antibiotics.
